Q: Highest cash back visa or mastercard?
I want a mastercard and/or visa that will pay me better than 1% cash back on every purchase, not just for a limited intro time but permanently and everywhere, not just certain locations. Are they're any cards like or close to this? and I do not want any card that doesn't allow you to get cold hard cash as your reward.
A: GET A DISCOVER CARD!!
Q: How do you collect the cash back rebate earned yearly from a VISA credit card?
The Associated Bank sponsors this VISA cash rebate card, and the billing info reads REBATE DOLLARS EARNED YTD: $407.17 We have had this card over a year and I can not find out how to receive the money. Thanks , and yes the bank didn't seem to be much help so we are in the process of changing banks and I hate to go back.
A: Hello, I would first put a request in writing, certified mail. Keeping a copy for your records. I would contact your local commerce of banks, local federal reserve/equivalent,states attorney's office, and though it is just a reporting station I would leave a complaint with better business bureau.
This is something you have in writing regarding your cash back rebate and what's owed to you. If they don't honor you, consider putting in a small claims.
Check your local laws and if necessary, how the the laws apply where the card is from. Example, Delaware.
Good Luck

What will the Federal Reserve do?
We will connect you with or forward your complaint to the appropriate federal regulator for the bank or institution involved in your complaint.
If your complaint is against a financial institution that the Federal Reserve supervises, it will be investigated by one of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks.
As the Reserve Bank investigates each issue raised in your complaint, it will:
* Ask the bank involved for information and records regarding your complaint.
* Determine if the bank's response addresses your concerns.
* Send you a letter about its findings.
The Reserve Bank may also contact you to request additional information necessary to complete its investigation.
The Reserve Bank will let you know if it finds an error or a violation of a federal law or regulation. Investigations typically take 30 to 60 days to complete. If more than 60 days have passed, the Reserve Bank will contact you to let you know the status of its investigation. Please note that it may take several months to investigate more complex complaints like those alleging illegal credit discrimination.

What won't the Federal Reserve do?
Although the Federal Reserve looks into every complaint that involves the banks we regulate, we do not have the authority to resolve every type of problem. For example:
* We are unable to resolve contract disputes or undocumented factual disputes between a customer and a bank. In these cases, we suggest that you contact an attorney.
* We cannot investigate matters that are the subject of a pending lawsuit.
* We are unable to resolve complaints about customer service or disagreements over specific bank policies and procedures not addressed by federal law or regulation.
Q: Can you get cash back on visa gift card worth 100?
I just wanted if you could get cash back on a visa giftcard and make a purchace and get cash back?
A: Nope they will not do it..
Q: Where can I do cash back using visa?
My debit card is MIA and I need cash asap
I have visa, where can I get cash? Like what store ??? Please help
A: you can't do cash back with a credit card - if you need the cash in hand you can do a cash advance at almost any ATM, call your card company and ask if you have a PIN set up already. also depending if that visa is from a bank, you may be able to go into that bank to take a cash advance with out a PIN. but know that the rates for cash advances are often higher by at least 5% then your regular APR
Q: What is the best Visa Credit Card to get that includes rewards and cash back with low interest rates?
I have a low interest rate credit card through my University, however it offers no cash back or rewards program. I am solely looking for a good VISA,not anything else, rewards or cash back program that doesn't get carried away with high interest rates.
A: check out www.bankrate.com. You can compare Credit card companies and offers on there. Beware of annual fees, vs reward programs and interest rates.
Q: Personal experience with the Charles Schwab Invest First 2% Cash-Back VISA?
I am reading conflicting reviews. Here are my Top 3 questions:
1. Just Brokerage, or Checking account also needed?
~ Some reviews say you only need to open a Brokerage account, of which the $1000 deposit is waived if you have the credit card. (This seems to be correct after looking over the Schwab website, but you can never be too careful when it comes to the "fine print"...)
2. Is there REALLY no fees or minimum balances in the account?
~ Since I love my main brokerage house (well, I should say I USED to love them. It was Dreyfus, who was absorbed by Brown&CO, who was absorbed by E-Trade. So now I am only "content" with my brokerage house). I really only want to use this account to receive my cash-back.
3. This leads me to my next point, how easy is it to take the balance out of the account?
~ Assuming the answer to question 2 is "Yes, there are no fees or minimum balances with an open brokerage account", then is it possible to just ask for a check every month for the full balance of the account?
Any personal experiences with this card would be appreciated. I plan on calling Schwab on Monday to apply, & I would like to make sure they don't feed me some BS answer just to sucker me in!
Aly
A: you need the brokerage account for the rewards to go into 5 days, at the end of the month. the brokerage if you open with the credit card has no minimum balance requirement.
I dunno about the check mailing part but i have my brokerage account linked to my bank accounts and transfer them out electronically.
I have the card for 3 or so months
PS the great thing about the card is that there is no currency conversion fee so i love traveling with this puppy, usually credit cards charge you 3%......
Q: Can I get cash (euros) back on purchases made with a Visa debit card in Spain?
In the U.S., many larger retail stores give you the option to get cash back over and above the purchase price of the item. Can you do that in Spain?
A: Maybe. It depends on what network is listed on the bank of your card or in your electronic funds transfer agreement. Maestro yes, Visa interlink/Pulse maybe. Make sure to notify your bank when you will be using the card, less chance of them blocking it. Take your banks phone number in case you need to call them.
Q: Cash back to prepaid Visa Card?
I am opening a E-wallet account with moneybookers.com which i can upload fund and send or withdraw money.
For the withdraw money part, i need to get a visa card (for my country) whereby moneybookers.com will cash the fund into my visa account if i want to withdraw money, may i know anyone can recommend any prepaid Visa card which allow other party/ people to cash $ in it.
Thanks.
A: check the visa website. www.visa.com click your country> personal> visa prepaid/giftcard> visa reloadable and on the side you can find the nearest store that sells them.
Q: Largest Amount of Cash Back Allowed on Visa Debit Card?
I was wondering what is the largest amount of "cash back" allowed on a Visa debit card. Is the amount determined by Visa/the bank or by the business? Had unauthorized "cash back" charges placed on my account for $150 per charge. I am trying to find a way to fight this. I have never been offered that large of a sum as "cash back" before. The bank is of no help b/c I have no receipts - the bar claims I got the "cash back." Any info on cash back would be appreciated. (Yes, I plan on contacting the bank again about this issue when they open --- just look for SOME answers now.)
Thanks for the advice so far - NO, there was not a cash back option on the machine - it is claimed that we told them we wanted that much cash back both times & they gave it to us & charged it as such. We were brought to a debit card swiper separate from the cash register with a tiny screen on which to enter the PIN - YES, I have learned my lesson ... each purchase SHOULD have been for less than $10 - no, I was not the least bit drunk.
A: Ususally, the bank determines that amount. Usually, you can contact the bank and raise or lower the amount of cash back. My Wells Fargo Visa debit card had a $300 cash limit per day, but I raised it to $600. You can raise the limit to whatever you want, but yeah that $150 fee seems outrageous. Good luck!
Q: Do I need Identification to use a VISA travelers cheque? and Where do I sign it? Can i get cash back?
I was given a travelers cheque. do I need identification to cash it? where do I sign it? and can I get cash back?
A: I've always been asked to show a form of picture ID when I cash traveller's checks.
You sign it once at the bank when you get it and then you sign when you redeem in front of the cashier.
If you want it in money only and not goods, take to a bank and cash there.
Q: highest cash back mastercard / visa?
what is the best rate anyone has seen (specifically)?
I've seen 1%, but I'd think you can do better.
A: Discover gave me 5% yesterday. Chase Visa is giving me 3% since about a month ago. Things must be heating up in the industry.
Q: so i get $30 cash back when i use my Amazon Visa credit card on first purchase?
it says it will show $30 credited on my credit card statement from using it on my first purchase
so i get $30 subtracted from my order?
please let me know if i am correct
http://www.amazon.com/gp/cobrandcard/marketing.html?ie=UTF8&pr=bus321
thanks!
A: Yeah, that's what it does, it subtracts 30$ from your total purchase price.
Be careful, though. There's always some catch.
Q: where is my cash back reward for ordering att uverse?
I change from comcast to att uverse. I already had home phone and Internet through them, for many years. The deal was that I was supposed to get $200 cash back in a Visa card . Well, then a month ago i get one for $100 and another one for $50 and one of them i can't activate, and what is even more frustrating is that i have tried to TALK !!!! to somebody and it is impossible!!!! What should i do?
A: You need to keep calling until you get someone that can help you. Ask for a 2nd tier.
Q: Can I get cash back on a Visa gift card?
A: No, it is used like a credit card, not a debit.
Q: Would I be charged for a cash advance with visa if I have a negative account balance?
I recently received a refund from a purchase on my Visa card and wanted the cash back, but I don't want to if I will be charged.
Negative balance means below 0 balance as opposed to positive balance.
The amount is substantial and I want it back because I don't use the card anymore.
A: If you call them up and request a check they should not charge you a Cash Advance Fee. However, with the time it takes to process that it might be better to just keep it on there and have it used as a credit the next time you use your card.
However, if you go to an ATM or bank and get cash that way you most likely would be charged the fee.
